Pakefield beach - drone video from the air
There are various photos scattered around this website of Pakefield Beach, but nothing can give you the impression of this vast expanse of sand more than a video; and when it comes to videos you can't beat a view from the air - it gives you that sense of space which can't be achieved from the ground. So to give you a better idea of what the beach is like, we chose a bright winters' day to get this drone footage of Pakefield beach.Drone video of Pakefield Beach

The video starts at the southern end of the beach, you can see the church tower in the distance. With The Beach Hut (was Florence Cottage), Albion Cottage and Coastline Cottage all being in the roads around the church.The drone follows the water's edge, heading north.
The foreground shows the fishing boats on the beach, with Lowestoft being seen in the distance. The large wind turbine which marks the most easterly point of the UK can also be seen in the distance.
As the drone rises into the air towards the end of the video, you get a birds-eye view of Pakefield.
